Old Cleveland Rd safety improvements
This week I was notified by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) that design work is in progress to provide safety improvements along the Old Cleveland Rd/Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Rd corridor.
This $500,000 project aims to improve safety, network efficiency and increase traffic flow along the busy roads.
Bushfire awareness workshops for residents
It’s that time of year when Queensland’s deadly bushfire season rears its head again. This year, Council has partnered with Redlands City Council and the Queensland Fire Emergency Service (QFES) to run a series of bushfire information sessions over the bushfire season.
These programs are run by the QFES and will equip residents with the information they need to protect their homes whilst also maintaining the environmental habitats that they live in.
