Torrens Crescent Park is now shady!

The sun is out and the shade is in as Wakerley parents and kids will be keeping cool from now on in Torrens Crescent Park! Council has now finished installing two shade sails over the play equipment.

When Wakerley constituents began approaching me about how hot the playground equipment gets in Summer I knew that something had to be done.

This is all part of the Schrinner Council’s commitment to maintaining and improving parks in our suburbs as well as across Brisbane.

The shade sails have been installed over the main and secondary playgrounds, with installation occurring over the last two weeks.
