Budget bonanza for Belmont Road
Belmont Road has hit the budget jackpot!
This year Council is investing over $2.5M into projects at both ends of Belmont Road.
Together these projects will address congestion at the intersection of Belmont and Manly Roads, as well as Belmont and Meadowlands Roads.
A combination of road widening, intersection improvements and targeted realignments will be used to deliver upgrades that project the greatest benefits to motorists at the lowest cost.
I would like to thank all those residents who signed my petition calling on the Lord Mayor to fund these upgrades.
Your voice has been heard loud and clear in City Hall. I look forward to updating you on these projects as we move from concept to construction over the next 12 months.
