Grandview Pl Park Upgrade Re-opening Party!

Local Carindale residents celebrated the re-opening of Grandview Place Park, and it is safe to say that the new playground got the tick of approval from the local kids and parents!

The new playground’s main attraction is the massive 6 metre embankment slide. Other features include, double swings, climbing wall, rope bridge, sliding pole and more!

Local musicians, the New Black Band, provided some great tunes, whilst free ice creams and a free sausage sizzle were put on by Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van and the Carindale Rotary Club.

The kids also loved having their faces painted by the talented Fantasy Metamorfaces artists. The Council Litter Team also made an appearance, hosting some fun activities and games for the kids.
