SIGN SITUATED ON AMBERJACK STREET, MANLY WEST

Councils Portable Speed Warning Sign (PSWS) program has been given a significant boost in this year’s budget with $30,000 allocated to purchase new signs and add additional locations to the list.

This year an additional two signs will be purchased under the scheme so hooning hotspots can be targeted for longer. The program has been hugely successful, with average speed reductions of up to 30% in some locations.

Over the last year the sign has been deployed at the following locations:

  • Bognor Rd

  • Tilley Rd

  • John St

  • Bethel St

  • Murarrie Rd

  • Amberjack St

  • New Cleveland Rd

  • Eversholt St

The two new signs are proposed to come online and be available in October 2015.
